Recruiting Graduate Students

I am currently recruiting graduate students who are interested in biology education research to work with me in the Department of Biological Sciences at The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. Ideal candidates will be those who have earned an undergraduate or master’s degree in biology (or related field) and are interested in pursuing an MS or PhD focused on undergraduate biology education. My current research focuses on the effective use of various classroom learning tools to support undergraduate students in learning biology. Biology education research is a new focus within the Department of Biological Sciences, so many opportunities exist and the program of study can be flexible to best fit your interests. I am looking for candidates who can begin in Fall 2017 pending acceptance into the program. Please contact me for more information.
