At the end of September, I visited Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN to give a seminar entitled Exploring the use of formative assessment, metacognition, and scaffolds to support students in learning biological concepts. Thank you to faculty and students in the Mathematics and Science Education graduate program for inviting me and for excellent discussions!
